In the annual report of the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) for December 2023, In 206 countries worldwide, Uzbekistan's National Anti-Doping Agency ranks among the strongest groups.

Certainly, forming a fair judicial system has never been easy; most countries in the world are struggling with corruption, political interference and a number of other problems that undermine the integrity of the legal system. Uzbekistan is one of those countries that have faced serious problems in building a fair judicial system. In this article we will dwell on these problems and how their solutions are being achieved.

This year, the international community commemorates two significant milestones: the 75th anniversary of the adoption of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the 30th anniversary of the Vienna Declaration and Programme of Action on Human Rights. The remarkable history of the Universal Declaration has effectively demonstrated the universal value of human rights. These rights are indispensable for the attainment of peace, security, and sustainable development.

Special attention is paid to ensuring a peaceful and tranquil life of the people, as well as creating a culture of law-abiding and public safety in society within the framework of large-scale reforms implemented in the country during the years of independence.

The 18th session of the UNESCO Intergovernmental Committee for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage, held on December 6, 2023, was very successful for Uzbekistan: three nominations submitted by the country were included in the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
