“Tarixi Şəxsiyyətlər” (Historical Persons) magazine, published in Azerbaijan since 2006, traditionally annually defines the Person of the Year from among world leaders, as well as prominent figures of public and political life. So, in 2017, the President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan was unanimously elected as the Person of the Year by the decision of editors, and in 2018, the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin.
