#BoburDay festivities, dedicated to the birthday of the great statesman, commander and poet Zahiriddin Muhammad Babur, have been held on youth initiative for several years.
February 14 is the birthday of an outstanding statesman, poet Zahiriddin Muhammad Babur. The Central Council of Uzbekistan Youth Union together with the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education, the Republican Center for Spirituality and Enlightenment, and the Uzbekconcert state institution holds a festive event dedicated to the 536th anniversary of Babur’s birth, in Tashkent State University of Economics.
On February 11, the Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Kyrgyzstan Komil Rashidov received the head of “Smile” national model choreographic ensemble Irina Solomko and presented her with a thank-you letter and valuable gifts for contributing to strengthening Uzbekistan – Kyrgyzstan cooperation in cultural-humanitarian sphere and friendship between people of the two countries.
The international conference organized by the Art and Culture Development Foundation at the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan that was devoted to preparation of the exhibition “Civilization and Culture on the Great Silk Road” was attended by scientists, archaeologists, museum specialists, restorers, textologists of Uzbekistan and specialists of the Louvre Museum of France.
Relations between people of Uzbekistan and Germany are the main factor in strengthening mutually beneficial ties. People of Germany show great interest in the history, customs and traditions of Uzbekistan people, and people of Uzbekistan, in turn, in the past and present of this country.
On April 5-10, 2019, Termez city of Surkhandarya region will host the first International Bakhshi Art Festival, which will be held at the initiative of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
