UzWaterAware winners identified

The event was organized with participation of senior officials of local and international organizations, representatives of the media and NGOs. It was timed to awarding the winners of the media competition held by the Center for Retraining Journalists within the framework of UzWaterAware project.

 

Executive Director of the Regional Environmental Centre for Central Asia Zafar Makhmudov noted that the Centre has been cooperating with all international organizations in the region, government agencies, and NGOs in Central Asian region for many years and has achieved results in its activities to solve water and environmental problems.

 

Winners of video and radio materials, print and online news were announced following the event. Abdulaziz Musayev (UzA), Ulugbek Hamrokulov (Dunyo buylab NTRC), Marifat Mavlonova (Jizzak radio) and Mansur Hasanov (Samarkand newspaper) became winners and main prize holders. Sayyora Shoyeva, Olima Hamroyeva, Bakhtiyor Muminov, Doniyor Jurayev, Mastura Hamroyeva, Nafisa Kholmuminova, Gulnoz Nurbekova, Zebo Saidova and Mavjuda Sabirboyeva also received awards in incentive nominations.
