Yesterday at the XI Congress of the Movement of Entrepreneurs and Business People - the Liberal Democratic Party (UzLiDeP) in Tashkent was made a decision to approve the current head of state Shavkat Mirziyoyev as a presidential candidate in the early elections on July 9, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.
It should be noted that the party nominated Shavkat Mirziyoyev as a presidential candidate on May 12. After that it has submitted documents to the Central Election Commission for participation in the elections and received permission.
Furthermore, during the congress, the party approved the candidate's program.
The program consists of five goals, the first one - "Creating the most suitable conditions for each person to realize his potential."
The second goal of the program is "Ensuring sustainable economic growth so that people are satisfied with standard of living."
The third goal of the program is aimed at "Saving water resources and protecting the environment."
The fourth goal is "Ensuring the rule of law, organizing public administration in the service of people."
The fifth goal is "New Uzbekistan- is a safe and peaceful state."
The leader of the National Revival Democratic party, Alisher Kodirov, also spoke at the congress. On behalf of his party, he expressed support for the candidate for the post of President of Uzbekistan from UzLiDeP.
According to the decision of the congress, UzLiDeP, in compliance with the law, will apply to the Central Election Commission with a request to register the candidate nominated by the party for the President of Uzbekistan.
Briefly recall that the People's Democratic Party of Uzbekistan nominated its leader Ulugbek Inoyatov, the Social Democratic Party "Adolat" - Robakhon Makhmudova, and the Ecological Party - Abdushukur Khamzaev as a candidate for President of Uzbekistan.
