KYIV, October 11. /“Dunyo” IA/. The Embassy of Uzbekistan in Ukraine, together with representatives of Uzbekistan Airways, held a presentation of Uzbekistan’s tourism potential at the international exhibition UITM 2021, in Kyiv, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.
More than 1.5 thousand people, including students of Ukrainian universities, visited Uzbekistan pavilion. They were interested in the programs of mountain and sports tourism, jeep safari on the Aral Sea and other types of outdoor activities. These travel packages also attracted the attention of representatives of business circles of Ukraine, with whom the development of corporate tours (MICE-tourism) was discussed.
Uzbekistan delegation took part in the roundtable discussion, within the framework of which a presentation was held. The event allowed the participants to get acquainted with the offered tourism products of Uzbekistan.
Talks were held with representatives of the State Agency for Tourism Development, tourism support agencies of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Kyiv City Administration, heads of the Association of Travel Organizations, the largest Ukrainian travel agencies, operators and air carriers.
