The Center for Economic Research and Reforms in June this year conducted the third stage of the survey at enterprises. Representatives of 998 enterprises from all regions of the country took part in the survey.
It should be noted that the assessment was carried out according to the methodology for evaluating the Business Climate Index developed by Germany’s IFO Institute.
The study of enterprises was carried out by assessing the current state of business and prospects for entrepreneurs to develop their business for the next 2-3 years.
According to CERR, the indicator of the current state of business in Uzbekistan amounted to 30 points (15 points higher compared to the previous month). This means that the business mood associated with the current state of business in the country is rated as average positive.
Over the past 2-3 months, the indicator of business development prospects amounted to 74 points, that is, increased by 44 points compared to the previous month.
The business climate indicator increased by 29 points compared to the previous month and amounted to 51 points. The business climate in Uzbekistan is estimated by experts as “good”.
