TASHKENT, January 29. /“Dunyo” IA/. The 25th Session of the Uzbek-British Trade and Industry Council (UBTIC) will take place on 3-4 February, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.
According to the Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade of Uzbekistan, the event is organized by the UK Department for International Trade, Uzbekistan MIFT and the British Embassy in Tashkent.
More than 40 speakers will take part in online sessions, including heads of ministries, agencies, and diplomatic missions of Uzbekistan and the UK, as well as representatives of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, the International Finance Corporation, and other international financial institutions.
Meetings of the official delegations of the two countries will be held, during which the current issues of the bilateral agenda in trade and investment will be discussed.
The British delegation will be headed by the Minister of State for Trade Policy in the Department for International Trade, Greg Hands, and Uzbekistan delegation by the First Deputy Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade Laziz Kudratov. Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade Sardor Umurzakov will address the session.
Participants of the event will have access to a special platform where they can exchange contacts and organize B2B meetings. Participation in the session is free.
