A webinar has been held with participation of representatives of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Bukhara State Medical University, Tashkent Medical University and the University of Medical Knowledge (Sağlık Bilimleri Üniversitesi) of Turkey.
Information and experience was exchanged in the fight against the global pandemic COVID-19 and its consequences.
The participants reviewed the practical aspects of prevention and treatment of new coronavirus infection, discussed the state and prospects of cooperation in this direction.
Bilateral cooperation in healthcare education was also discussed.
Issues such as the course of the COVID-19 disease in patients of different age groups, characteristic features of a new type of coronavirus infection, specific symptoms of this disease, diagnostic methods, treatment protocols, vaccination and drug research, monitoring the recovered patients and others were considered.
Particular attention was paid to the latest methods of treating critically ill patients in intensive care units.
