TASHKENT, June 7. /“Dunyo” IA/. With the assistance of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in the Benelux countries and Belgian Modern Education & Research Institute (MERI), the Institute for Tourism Development under the Ministry of Tourism and Sports of the Republic of Uzbekistan signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Organization for the Promotion of Tourism in Africa – Mercatour, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.
The document provides for the exchange of visits, faculty and students, the development and implementation of joint educational and research projects, the joint publication of the results of research activities, cooperation in the capacity development, participation in courses, workshops, trainings, conferences and symposiums organized by the parties, the exchange of academic materials, the experience in tourism, sports and leisure.
The parties are preparing the documents of the joint project for further presentation to the UN and receiving co-financing.
