Uzbekistan to host European Mobility Week

The event is dedicated to collaboration, joint efforts and exchange between government and civil society aimed at creating a shared vision of a cycling-friendly, safe and sustainable urban environment.

 

Digital and social media, as well as animated posts will be used during the week on social networks to explain benefits and rules of cycling and zero-emission mobility under the slogan #TashkentZaVelo to support expansion of cycling community in Tashkent.

 

Local residents can support #TashkentZaVelo initiative by testing at least one street on daily bike route, thereby helping to create a map of the concept of Tashkent and participating in the prize draw.
