TASHKENT, September 21. /“Dunyo” IA/. Yesterday, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev had a telephone conversation with the President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.
According to the press service of the Head of our state, the leaders of the two countries discussed issues related to the recent tragic events on Tajikistan – Kyrgyzstan border. The President of Uzbekistan expressed his deepest condolences in connection with the victims. The agreements reached to normalize the situation were noted with satisfaction.
Views were exchanged on the main results of the Samarkand Summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and the bilateral meeting held within its framework.
The importance of the implementation of the decisions taken during the events at the highest level, primarily to accelerate the preparation and promotion of cooperation projects in the energy, industry, agriculture and other sectors, was noted.
