Uzbekistan, Saudi Arabia intensify multifaceted cooperation

The capital of Saudi Arabia hosted a roundtable discussion on economic cooperation with Central Asian countries.

The event, held by the Embassy of Uzbekistan at the Center of Information and Arabian-Russian Studies of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, was attended by the leadership and representatives of this Center, analytical circles, the business community and local media.
 
The participants were informed about the state and development of relations between Uzbekistan and Saudi Arabia in political, trade, economic, investment, cultural, humanitarian and other areas, as well as priorities of Uzbekistan’s foreign policy, which is being built taking into account the dynamically changing situation in the world and the region.
 
Representatives of Uzbekistan Exporters Association presented the export potential of the country, as well as export-oriented products produced in Uzbekistan, via videoconference.
 
Commenting on the speech of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev at the 75th session of the UN General Assembly, the Director of the Center of Information and Arabian-Russian Studies of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Majed Al-Turki, highly appreciated the initiatives of the President of Uzbekistan, the domestic and foreign policy pursued under his leadership, the similarity of approaches of Uzbekistan and Saudi Arabia in international issues.
