The Embassy of Uzbekistan in Israel has organized a webinar on telemedicine with participation of Israeli specialists and relevant agencies of Uzbekistan.
Israeli specialists shared their experience on the well-established work in telemedicine in oncology, ophthalmology and other areas.
The Uzbek side, in turn, informed about the measures taken to develop the telemedicine industry in remote regions of the country. One of the first steps was the creation of the Telemedicine Innovation Center in Muynak district of Karakalpakstan, where medical examinations and consultations on therapeutic treatment are carried out online with participation of the country’s medical staff and foreign specialists.
The importance of studying the Israeli experience in conducting remote medical examination was emphasized. In this regard, interest has been expressed in establishing such interaction based on the Telemedicine Innovation Center in Muynak district.
An agreement was reached to continue cooperation in order to further apply Israel’s experience in medical institutions of the country.
