Virtual talks have been organized between representatives of the State Committee for Veterinary Medicine and Livestock Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Parrandasanoat Association and Israel’s Management Agriculture Development (M.A.D.) company.

M.A.D. leadership expressed interest in implementing a joint project on cluster production of turkey meat in Uzbekistan with the transfer of technologies and training Uzbekistan specialists.

The possibility of implementing this project through the mechanism for implementing projects abroad, widespread in Israel, was noted, in particular by attracting long-term loans (the amount of the attracted loan is up to 85% of the project cost) with participation of the company’s own funds and Uzbekistan partner.

In turn, the leadership of Parrandasanoat Association provided information on the ongoing work to launch the production of alternative and useful types of dietary meat, including turkey meat, as well as to increase their consumption by the population. In this regard, they expressed readiness to cooperate with Israel’s company on this project.

Following the talks, an agreement was reached on considering the possibilities of creating a cluster production of turkey meat in Uzbekistan and finding potential local partners for interaction with the Israeli side.
