Uzbekistan, Indonesia intensify cooperation in Ziyorat Tourism

Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Indonesia U. Rozukulov has met with the Vice Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Republic of Indonesia for People’s Welfare, Muhaimin Iskandar.

The parties emphasized the solid potential for expanding and further developing bilateral cooperation in trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian spheres.
 
According to Muhaimin Iskandar, Indonesia has great respect and interest in the Islamic heritage of Uzbekistan. For this reason, the parties agreed to intensify cooperation in Ziyorat tourism.
 
The meeting was also attended by the representative of Uzbekistan Airways in Indonesia A. Khojayev, who provided information on direct flights on Jakarta – Tashkent – Jakarta route and transit transportation of Indonesian pilgrims under the Umra+ program, as well as the airline’s opportunities to transport passengers and cargo.
 
Following the meeting, the Vice Speaker informed about the plan of his first visit to Uzbekistan as part of the parliamentary delegation. The parties agreed to work out the terms of the visit after the resumption of regular flights to Uzbekistan.
