Uzbekistan – India Business Forum

The event was attended by the Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan A. Ikramov, Co-Chairman of Uzbekistan – India Business Forum, former President of FICCI Ladies Organisation Harjinder Kaur Talwar, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of India to Uzbekistan Mr. M.Prabhat, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan to India Mr. D.Akhatov, Chairman of the Association of Exporters of Uzbekistan M. Umarov, as well as businesspeople of the two countries.

 

It was noted that today's joint event will create additional opportunities for development of mutually beneficial and long-term relations between business representatives of Uzbekistan and India.

 

At the forum, participants became familiar with promising areas of mutually beneficial cooperation, including implementation of joint projects in trade-investment spheres.

 

The parties also discussed promising areas of bilateral cooperation in healthcare and pharmaceuticals.
