Uzbekistan, Hungary discuss development of multifaceted cooperation

Virtual talks have been held between the First Deputy Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade L. Kudratov with the Deputy State Secretaries for Export Development and Eastern Relations of Hungary I. Joo and A. Barany.

At the meeting, the current agenda of Uzbekistan – Hungary partnership and prospects for its expansion in priority areas were discussed.
 
The parties considered the course of preparation for the next meeting of Uzbekistan – Hungary Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation, scheduled for November this year.
 
The parties also discussed issues of interregional partnership – the preconditions for establishing twinning relations between Veszprem region of Hungary and Navoi region of Uzbekistan, as well as between Peshten and Tashkent regions, respectively, were considered.
 
Following the talks, an agreement was reached on development of a regular dialogue within the framework of the designated areas with the aim of high-quality and timely implementation of the agreements reached.
