The number of countries where shoes produced in Uzbekistan are delivered has reached 12.
This year’s list included such countries as the United States, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Latvia and Moldova.
According to the State Customs Committee, since the beginning of the year, 23 million 656 thousand pairs of shoes worth almost million have been exported.
As a result, the volume of exports increased by 91 percent compared to the same period last year. Due to expansion of local production, shoe imports decreased by almost 74 percent.
