The Embassy of Uzbekistan in Egypt held a videoconference with participation of heads of Uzbekistan companies Al-Alkom Trade and BMB Export Global and Egyptian importers Saad Group and Be International to discuss the export of dried fruits and textile products from Uzbekistan to Egypt.
Saad Group’s representatives expressed interest in purchasing dried fruits from Uzbekistan, which are of high quality and unique taste.
In turn, Egyptian businesspeople intend to supply citrus fruits, sugar and olive oil to Uzbekistan at competitive prices.
During the negotiations, the nomenclature of goods demanded in Egypt and Uzbekistan was determined, the terms of transportation for conclusion of export agreements were agreed.
Be International’s leadership noted that the company specializes in production and supply of finished knitwear products to the domestic market and to European countries. The company is interested in cotton fabrics of Uzbekistan, which are of high quality and at affordable prices.
An agreement was reached between representatives of Al-Alkom Trade and Be International on concluding a contract for the supply of cotton fabrics and organizing a visit of Egyptian entrepreneurs to Uzbekistan.
