The leaders paid particular attention to increasing trade turnover and the number of joint ventures. The parties agreed to launch systematic work to significantly increase these indicators in the near future.

The Head of our State stressed that the expansion and balance of mutual trade, joint access to the markets of third countries, and the creation of a special industrial zone for the promotion of high-tech projects will contribute to achieving this goal.

Concrete plans for cooperation in energy, petrochemicals, mining, electrical engineering, agriculture, food industry, pharmaceuticals, finance sector, IT and other industries were outlined.

Confidence was expressed that the outcomes of tomorrow’s Business Forum in Samarkand, with the participation of leading companies from both countries, and the signing of a solid package of investment agreements, will add new content to the partnership.

The commitment to continue close dialogue and mutual support in regional and international organizations was reaffirmed.

Measures will be taken to expand cultural and humanitarian exchanges, including the mutual holding of cultural weeks, youth forums, educational and sports events, and various exhibitions.
