At the initiative of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Ukraine, Uzbekistan –Ukraine online meeting has been held between representatives of travel companies.
The dialogue was also attended by representatives of the Ministry of Transport, the Association of Private Tourism Agencies of Uzbekistan and SkyUp Airlines (Ukraine).
Head of the State Agency for Tourism Development Maryana Oleskiv noted the high unrealized potential of cooperation in tourism.
The parties agreed to consider the issue of organizing charter flights at the initial stage with further elaboration of the issue of switching to regular flights with participation of air carriers.
Following the talks, the parties agreed to continue consultations both at the state level and between private travel and air companies, with the aim of developing, in the near future, common approaches to the development of tourism between the countries.
