TASHKENT, April 12. /“Dunyo” IA/. Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Tourism and Cultural Heritage Aziz Abdukhakimov visited the village of Padang in Uzbekistan’s Boysun district and got acquainted with the preparations for the upcoming International Folklore Festival “Boysun Bahori” (Baysun Spring) to be held on May 7-8, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.
As previously reported, within the framework of the revived festival, national songs and costumes, folk crafts, fine and applied arts, drone shows, ethno-sports contests, wrestling competitions and other events will be demonstrated. Famous artists and folk groups will take part in the opening ceremony. The winners of competitions will receive awards.
More than a hundred lawns will be laid out on the green hill, where the international festival will be held, and national traditions and values will be demonstrated.
