Uzbekistan and Israel signed an agreement on strengthening bilateral cooperation in tourism

TASHKENT, May 19. /“Dunyo” IA/. On May 17, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Tourism and Cultural Heritage Aziz Abdukhakimov and Minister of Tourism of Israel Yoel Razvozov signed an agreement on strengthening bilateral relations, in Tashkent, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.

According to the Ministry of Tourism and Cultural Heritage, the document provides for an increase in mutual tourist flow, flights and strengthening partnerships between representatives of the tourism business, exchange of airtime, organization of exhibitions of famous artists, development of cooperation between the Silk Road International University of Tourism in Samarkand and partner educational institutions in Israel.

Yoel Razvozov noted that Uzbekistan is a country with a rich history and cultural heritage, and stressed the growing desire of Israelis to travel to Uzbekistan. The guest also focused on ongoing reforms and landscaping activities in the country. According to Yoel Razvozov, the signing of the agreement will bring cooperation between Israel and Uzbekistan in tourism to a new level and significantly increase the mutual flow of tourists.

On May 17, the ministers also took part in the opening ceremony of the Tashkent Travel Mart 2022 International Fair.
