TASHKENT, January 29. /“Dunyo” IA/. A delegation of the Parliament of Indonesia led by the Vice-Chairperson of the Inter-Parliamentary Cooperation Agency, Mardani Ali Sera, visited Samarkand, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.
According to the State Committee for Tourism Development, the delegation got acquainted with the shrines, architectural and historical monuments of Samarkand.
The guests visited historical monuments and places of worship of the ancient city, the Imam al-Bukhari Complex, the Amir Timur Mausoleum, the architectural ensemble on Registan Square, the Shakhi-Zinda Complex, as well as the Mirzo Ulugbek Observatory.
