A presentation was held about Uzbekistan’s tourism potential. Information was provided on the large-scale reforms in tourism carried out in the country. The main attention was paid to new tourism products and directions, opportunities created for tourists at Samarkand International Airport and the “Silk Road Samarkand” International Tourist Center.
As part of the event, representatives of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and senior officials of Uzbekistan’s embassy in Malaysia met with tour operators.
Following the talks, agreements were reached with several major travel companies to further attract tourists to Uzbekistan.
