A group of Jizzakh Trade Union activists visited memorial sites in Urgench and Khiva.
The trip was organized by the Regional Council of Trade Unions within the framework of “O’zbekiston bo’ylab sayohat qil!” (“Travel to Uzbekistan!”) program. It was attended by 54 trade union activists from among workers and veterans of labor in public education, health, industrial organizations and institutions of the city of Jizzakh, Zaamin, Zarbdar, Sh.Rashidov, Mirzachul and Farish districts.
Tourists visited Ichan-Kala Complex and other historical places of Khiva. On the next day, they visited Ohun Bobo Mosque, a complex built in honor of the great commander Jaloliddin Manguberdi, and Ulli-Kala Fortress in Urgench district.
A special schedule for development of domestic tourism has been developed in the region within the framework of “O’zbekiston bo’ylab sayohat qil!” program. The excursion to Khorezm was the third among the trips organized by the Regional Council of Trade Unions on the basis of this schedule.
