Within the framework of the festival, a creative video contest “Dustlik” (Friendship) was organized. The purpose of this competition is to support the initiatives of national cultural centers and friendship societies in Uzbekistan, to strengthen the ideological immunity of people against alien ideas.
Chairman of the Committee on Interethnic Relations and Friendly Ties with Foreign Countries under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan Rustambek Kurbanov noted that the issue of maintaining interethnic harmony is under the constant attention of our state. In accordance with the Constitution and laws of the country, all citizens of Uzbekistan have equal rights.
The competition was held in two nominations: “The best video celebrating friendship” and “The best broadcast, reportage, film, reflecting interethnic harmony”. More than 90 creative works were received. The authors of the best of them were awarded monetary rewards.
