BRUSSELS, March 29. /“Dunyo” IA/. The Embassy of Uzbekistan took part in the preparation and holding of the online Nowruz Film Days, in Brussels, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.
The event was held jointly with the Belgian Centre for Fine Arts BOZAR, the diplomatic missions of the Central Asian countries accredited in Brussels, and the European Union.
At the film festival, four feature films were presented to the attention of Europeans: including Suleiman Gora (directed by Elizaveta Stishova, Kyrgyzstan), Mariam (directed by Sharipa Urazbayeva, Kazakhstan), Sabot (directed by Rashid Malikov, Uzbekistan), The Road (Directed by Nosir Saidov, Tajikistan).
The Uzbek film Sabot (Fortitude), which tells about the difficult fate of a person who went through the harsh crucible of the Afghan war, received special recognition.
