According to the press service of the head of our state, at the beginning of the negotiations, Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov conveyed sincere greetings and best wishes to the head of our state from Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Issues of implementation of agreements and agreements in the field of trade and economic cooperation adopted following the official visit of the President of Uzbekistan to Russia on October 5-7, 2023 were considered.
During the meeting, it was noted with satisfaction that at the end of last year, bilateral trade turnover increased by 6.6 percent. Projects are being implemented in the fields of industry, energy, transport, metallurgy, chemistry, pharmaceuticals and other industries. The fruitful results of the meetings of the intergovernmental commission, interregional, educational and medical forums held in 2023 were highly appreciated.
Particular attention was paid to the importance of maintaining the growth rate of mutual trade and further promoting cooperation projects. This includes participation in the third edition of the International Industrial Exhibition "Innoprom. Central Asia", scheduled to be held in Tashkent in April this year.
