The presidents of Uzbekistan and South Korea discussed further plans to expand bilateral cooperation by telephone

According to the press service of the head of state, topical issues of further development of Uzbek-South Korean relations of friendship and special strategic partnership, as well as the expansion of multifaceted cooperation, were discussed.

Particular attention is paid to the practical implementation of the agreements reached during the meeting of the leaders of the two countries on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly meeting in September this year in New York City.

The importance of continuing active contacts and exchanges in various formats of interaction was emphasized.

Interest in accelerating the implementation of cooperation projects between leading companies and the formation of a new partnership program with banking and financial institutions of South Korea was confirmed.

It was agreed to hold a meeting of the joint Intergovernmental Committee before the end of this year.

The presidents of Uzbekistan and South Korea also reviewed the schedule of upcoming high-level events.
