The Presidents of Uzbekistan and Russia discussed by telephone the issues of implementing agreements at the highest level

Today, the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev had a telephone conversation with the President of Russia Vladimir Putin, reports a correspondent of "Dunyo" information agency.

According to the press service of the head of state, current issues on the bilateral agenda were discussed, including the practical implementation of agreements reached during the high-level visit to the Russian Federation on October 5-7 this year.

 

The leaders of the two countries noted with satisfaction the consistent strengthening of Uzbek-Russian relations of comprehensive strategic partnership and alliance, as well as the expansion of multifaceted cooperation.

 

The dynamics of growth in mutual trade turnover indicators continues, cooperation projects are being implemented in various sectors of the economy, and fruitful interregional contacts are developing. The day before, a large joint agrological complex was launched in the Jizzakh region.

 

The heads of Uzbekistan and Russia also welcomed the active cultural and humanitarian exchange and ongoing programs in the healthcare sector.
