According to the press service of the Head of state, the President of Uzbekistan first visited the Mausoleum of Imam Bukhari in Payariq district. Surahs from the Quran and dua were recited.
“We ask Allah Almighty to protect peace and tranquility in our country, send us prosperity and abundance. Here, very little time is left before the celebration of the 32nd Anniversary of our Independence. We are grateful that our people have come such a long way. At the same time, we have set ourselves big plans. To achieve them, we need to work twice as hard and pay more attention to the education of young people. The results will be high when education and knowledge are a priority in all areas. We want our youth to be worthy of our ancestors like Imam Bukhari and Mirzo Ulugbek”, Shavkat Mirziyoyev said.
It was noted that in Samarkand, it is necessary to form a similar model of Islamic education in Bukhara. Instructions were given to intensify work to protect young people from alien ideas and to fight against ignorance through enlightenment using the heritage of scientists of the past.
The Imam Bukhari Complex is currently being renovated. The Head of state examined the finishing options.
