According to the press service of the head of our state, it should be noted that the "BYD" company is a global leader in the production of modern electric vehicles and a new generation of batteries. Producing up to 2 million cars a year, the Chinese concern sets the main trends in the development of the global automobile industry.
At the meeting, practical aspects of expanding the company’s activities in Uzbekistan were discussed, in particular, the early launch of a production site for hybrid and electric cars in the Jizzakh region with an increase in capacity in subsequent stages to 300 thousand cars.
Particular attention is paid to projects for localizing components and spare parts to reduce production costs, as well as organizing the export of cars to third-country markets.
Plans for the supply of BYD electric buses to our country with the creation of engineering and service centers were also supported.
