TASHKENT, October 13. /“Dunyo” IA/. Yesterday, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev arrived in Astana on a working visit at the invitation of the President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.
According to the press service of the Head of our state, Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Alikhan Smailov and other officials welcomed the President of Uzbekistan at the airport.
On October 13-14, Astana will host meetings of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia and the Council of Heads of State of the Commonwealth of Independent States. The President of Uzbekistan will attend and address the events.
The summit agenda includes issues of increasing mutual trade and promoting industrial cooperation projects, forming effective transport communications, ensuring food security and countering climate change.
The program of the visit of the President of Uzbekistan also provides for several bilateral meetings and multilateral talks with the heads of delegations of partner countries.
