The Embassy of Uzbekistan in the Benelux countries, together with Uzbekistan Textile and Garment Industry Association, has organized a videoconference with participation of Cogetex leadership.
The event was also attended by the heads and representatives of major producers of yarn and fabrics of the country, including Textile Plus, Uztex Group, Global Textile Solutions, Bahmal Group, Bukhoro Cotton Tex and Textile Technologies Group.
Representatives of Uzbekistan Textile and Garment Industry Association and textile enterprises made a presentation on development of the industry in Uzbekistan, available opportunities and capacities for production of high-quality products for the supply to the European market. Special emphasis was placed on the issues of resuming the export of cotton yarn, including those with relevant international certificates, such as BSCI, GOUTS.
Following the videoconference, an agreement was reached to establish direct contacts between Cogetex company and enterprises of Uzbekistan to consider practical aspects of interaction, including the issues of determining the cost and volume of products, studying their quality and others.
