Andrei Andreevich Borzenko, son of Andrei Borzenko:

“For me and my family, the premiere of the film “Borzenko: Ring Behind Barbed Wire” is a very significant event. The fact that the premiere will take place both in Tashkent and in Moscow further enhances the significance of the film and my father. To be honest, I dreamed about it. My dream has come true. During the preparation of the film, the film crew found and revealed documents unknown to me, memories of people who knew my father. Of course, it was very pleasant and interesting for us.”

Paina Sidneevna Jackson, daughter of coach Sydney Jackson:

“Tournaments in memory of Sidney Lvovich were held annually. I have always been invited as an honored guest. Andrei Andreevich participated in them either as a sports doctor or as a judge. Naturally, we were on different sides. But my brother Leva, who was invited to these competitions as an honorary judge, told me a lot about him. My brother and Andrei Borzenko were brought together not only by boxing, but also by their profession. They both became surgeons. And Leva told me what a sensitive and attentive doctor Andrey was. What a strict and principled judge. I told about this in the film "Borzenko: the ring behind barbed wire."

I want to pay tribute to the creators of this film, because they put together the image of Andrei bit by bit, after all, a lot of time has passed. The film recreates the real image of Andrei Borzenko. He is true, he is truthful. This is a big job. This film shows that nothing in our history can be forgotten. I think everyone will like it.
