Judo Championships may start in September

Federations of member countries of the organization were officially notified about this.

 

The IJF expresses hope for the elimination of the coronavirus pandemic and notes that the International Judo Federation, together with the organizing committees, is working on a new championship calendar. Attention is paid to organizing competitions at a convenient time for athletes participating in the program of Olympic qualifying games.

 

But the decision to start the championship in September is not final. If the situation related to coronavirus does not change by this time in a positive direction, the competition will be postponed.
