At the World Youth Chess Championships in Italy, Uzbekistan’s Afruza Khamdamova became the world champion in the age category up to 14 years. She won the first world title among girls in the history of Uzbekistan.
Gulrukhbegim Tokhirjonova and Bakhora Abdusattorova won silver medals at the championships.
