Uzbekistan, Japan enhance collaboration in healthcare

The event was organized by Uzbekistan – Japan Silk Road Foundation with the support of the Embassy of Uzbekistan with participation of representatives of ministries and Japan business community.

 

The Japanese partners were invited to develop mutually beneficial cooperation with Uzbekistan and actively implement new promising innovative projects.

 

The Japanese side paid special attention to the discussion of new areas of interaction in the format of public-private partnership in healthcare. In particular, representatives of Daido Industries, Inc. and ITEC expressed their readiness to develop cooperation with Uzbekistan and announced specific projects in healthcare.

 

Following the workshop, an agreement was reached on the continuation of practical contacts between the official and business circles of Japan and Uzbekistan and the organization of a visit of Japanese businesspeople to Tashkent to conduct substantive negotiations on specific projects of cooperation in healthcare.
