TASHKENT, January 29. /“Dunyo” IA/. Yesterday, the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis hosted a meeting with a delegation of the Parliament of Indonesia led by the Inter-Parliamentary Cooperation Agency, Mardani Ali Sera, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.
According to the lower house of Parliament, Deputy Speaker of the Legislative Chamber Alisher Kodirov, welcoming the members of the delegation to Uzbekistan, noted that cooperation between the two countries is strengthening in various fields.
The parties discussed issues of developing inter-parliamentary cooperation. Attention was drawn to the issues of deepening trade, economic and investment cooperation.
The guests noted that the opportunity to discuss the prospects for the development of Indonesia – Uzbekistan inter-parliamentary cooperation will contribute to a new stage in relations.
Following the meeting, an agreement was reached to intensify the inter-parliamentary dialogue at various levels, to hold regular consultations on the current issues of the bilateral and international agenda.
