Ambassador of Uzbekistan to China Bakhtiyor Saidov took part in the opening ceremony of the 27th China Yangling Agricultural Hi-Tech Fair (CAF), organized in China’s Shaanxi Province.
In his speech, Ambassador of Uzbekistan, provided the event participants with detailed information on measures taken in Uzbekistan for increasing the competitiveness of the agricultural sector, ensuring food security of the population, introducing innovative, resource and energy saving technologies, creating new value chains and others.
Uzbekistan delegation held meetings with the leadership of the Northwest A&F University and Yangling Vocational and Technical College. Issues of implementing joint activities to strengthen scientific and technical potential, preparation of joint research and laboratory developments, exchange and advanced training of specialists, creation of an agricultural scientific and technical park in Uzbekistan and others were discussed.
The leadership of this university expressed its readiness to conduct online workshops for Uzbekistan specialists, farmers and enterprises on intensive gardening, seed production and the use of modern technologies in agriculture.
