Uzbekistan is widely celebrating the 60th Anniversary of the establishment of Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Combinat and the city of Navoi.
In connection with the anniversary, the International Conference on “Prospects for innovative development of mining and metallurgical complex” was held at Navoi State Mining Institute. Scientists of Uzbekistan and leading experts of mining and metallurgical sphere from Russia, Germany, Canada, Ukraine, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan attended the event.
At the event, organized in “Farkhod” palace of culture of the city of Navoi, the President’s message of greetings on the 60th Anniversary of the establishment of Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Combinat and the city of Navoi was read by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan A.Aripov.
In accordance with the decree of the President on awarding a group of leading production workers and public activists in connection with the 60th Anniversary of Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Combinat and the city of Navoi, a group of representatives of the mining industry were awarded honorary titles, orders and medals.
Chairman of Employees Trade Union Council of Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Combinat I.Rakhmatov was awarded “Fidokorona khizmatlari uchun” (“For selfless service”) order.
