The National Chamber of Innovative Healthcare of the Republic of Uzbekistan held an online discussion on implementation of the project for training physicians according to Canadian standards at Karakalpakstan Medical Institute.
Representatives of the National Chamber, Medical Institute of Karakalpakstan and Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada attended the event.
It was noted that the introduction of the best international standards in the training process is one of the tasks set by the government of Uzbekistan to the National Chamber.
Uzbekistan – Canada project provides for the stage of postgraduate medical education, successful completion of which makes it possible to apply for work in Canada and countries where Canadian medical education system is recognized.
The experience of working with one of the recognized international medical education systems will be used in healthcare while implementing these standards in Uzbekistan. This will help assess the level of specialists who have received postgraduate medical education on Canadian model.
Work on the implementation of this project continues.
