Uzbekistan, Belarus discuss implementation of international experience in healthcare

Implementation of international experience for improving the qualifications of Uzbekistan doctors was discussed by the National Chamber of Innovative Healthcare and Belarusian Medical Academy of Post-Graduate Education (BelMAPO).

The discussion was also attended by members of the leadership of the Center for Development of Professional Qualification of Medical Workers of Uzbekistan, directors and specialists of territorial divisions of the National Chamber in the country’s regions.
 
It was noted that distance learning should be applied on a systematic basis. It is possible to practice advanced training for doctors online. At the same time, international experience can be taken into account, for example, of BelMAPO.

Chairman of the National Chamber Rovshan Izamov confirmed the readiness of the National Chamber to use its resources for creating such a unique online platform with Belarusian partners.
 
Participants discussed the possibility of trilateral cooperation on innovative learning.
 
Representatives of BelMAPO noted a number of areas that they can offer, including the capabilities of an innovative simulation center. Issues related to the structure of institutions for further training of health workers, their accreditation, various postgraduate education systems and cooperation in combating the COVID-19 pandemic were discussed. All participants noted great prospects in such areas as development of telemedicine, conducting webinars on diagnosis and treatment of coronavirus infection.
