On December 15-16, the Head of our state Shavkat Mirziyoyev
visited the Republic of Karakalpakstan in order to become acquainted
with the course of socio-economic reforms at places.
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the specialized boarding school
named after Ibrohim Yusupov on the second day of his trip to
Karakalpakstan. Became acquainted with conditions created in the modern
building erected in a short time, spoke with young talents. The students
of the school were presented an “Isuzu” bus, produced in Samarkand.
The alley next to a modern three-story school building, where the
monument to Ibrohim Yusupov is erected, became another place for
meetings of artists and youth. A center for translation and publication
of books was also opened at school.
Yesterday Chairman of the Jokargy Kenes of the Republic of
Karakalpakstan M.Erniyazov solemnly handed over the keys of the new bus
to the school staff.
– The meeting with the President of our country made a great
impression on us, – says a student of the school Berdibek Aytmuratov. – I
read my poem to the Head of our state, dedicated to the memory of
Ibrohim Yusupov. To tell the truth, I was a little worried. But he liked
it, and praised me. I am the happiest student in the world. I am
grateful to our President for the new school and proud to live in such a
well-maintained country.
