At the Scientific and Enlightenment Memorial Complex named after Islam Karimov, verses from the Quran were recited. The participants acknowledged the merits of the First President in maintaining peace and stability in the country and enhancing the well-being of the population.
The event was attended by representatives of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Presidential Administration, the Cabinet of Ministers, ministries, agencies, and the public.
Flowers were laid at the monument to the First President.
