Tanzila Narbayeva holds virtual talks with Edie Fraser

According to the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, during the conversation, issues related to the establishment of mutual cooperation and joint work aimed at promoting the role of women in social development were discussed.

 

The American side was informed in detail about the reforms carried out in the country in support of women. 

 

Edie Fraser praised the state policy pursued in Uzbekistan for all-round support of women, especially for their promotion to leading positions in public administration.

 

At the meeting, an agreement was reached to continue cooperation in order to implement specific projects to increase the socio-economic activity of women, especially the development of women’s entrepreneurship.
