President of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan, academician Behzod Yuldashev, on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the Russian nuclear industry, has been awarded the jubilee medal of Rosatom for his contribution and achievements in atomic energy use.
According to the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan, the award has been presented by the representative of the corporation in Uzbekistan Alexey Sai.
The award is presented to employees of Rosatom state corporation and other persons, including citizens of foreign countries, for their significant contribution to development of the nuclear industry, ensuring nuclear and radiation safety, development of nuclear science and technology, efficient atomic energy, training personnel for international cooperation in the use of nuclear energy and industry.
