Prospects of cooperation in healthcare discussed

The parties discussed issues of enhancing cooperation between Uzbekistan and France in healthcare.

 

Jean-François Gendron highly appreciated the measures taken to improve the healthcare system in Uzbekistan. He noted that the goal of the French Healthcare Association is to promote the best practices and technologies of France in healthcare at the international level. In this regard, he expressed his readiness to provide comprehensive support for the implementation of the advanced French experience based on innovative solutions into the healthcare system of Uzbekistan.

 

In this context, he informed about the progress of the project to study the medical infrastructure of Uzbekistan. He noted that based on the results of the study, the French Healthcare Association will forward practical proposals for improving the material and technical base of medical institutions in Uzbekistan with participation of advanced French technologies.

 

Following the event, an agreement was reached to hold a videoconference with the heads of healthcare authorities of Uzbekistan to discuss the prospects for cooperation.
